RYT500 Advanced Studies

RYT500 Advanced Studies (300 Hour Curriculum)

Deepening your knowledge of yoga and building on your RYT200 training, this program will offer you the benefit of co-leading training workshop modules as you deepen your knowledge of yoga. You will develop strong observation skills and receive mentorship throughout the training workshop portion.

This program includes advanced training that builds on basic yoga concepts and goes deeper into yoga theory and applied practice. You must successfully complete all contact and non-contact hours of training to graduate from the program. All Modules are held at either ClubWorx or Breathing Space studios in Fuquay-Varina.

Co-lead Workshop Training Modules will include:

  • Yoga Basics, Pranayama, Anatomy, Safety, Kriyas, Chanting, Pratyahara, Psychology, Subtle Body, Chakras, Meditation, Business, Ethics (RYT-200 Core Modules)*
  • Additional required Modules:
    • Detox Yoga*
    • Hot Yoga (includes Yin)*
    • Yoga Modifications*
    • Senior Yoga (includes Chair)*
    • Prenatal Yoga**
    • Children’s Yoga**
    • The Art of Assisting, Asana and Sequencing**
    • Yoga and the Science of Ayurveda**

**You may transfer approved prior advanced yoga training to replace the additional required modules, fee-free for two of these modules.

 

Requirements and fees

Registration
To enter our RYT500 Advanced Studies Program, you must already have completed your RYT200 training, complete and submit your application and pay the Program fee.

RYT500 Advanced Studies – $3,250




Payment Plan – 10 monthly payments of $350, first payment must be made 45 days prior to first Module. Payments are due on the first of each month, beginning the month before training starts.

Note: Before you can register for RYT500 certification with Yoga Alliance, you will need at least 100 hours of teaching experience in addition to the 300 hours of training.
